Renaissance return for Salutem Trainer Ken Condon was delighted to see smart sprinter In Salutem acquit himself well on only his second Pattern-race appearance at the Curragh on Sunday. A winner at the Shergar Cup at Ascot last month before filling the runner-up spot in a conditions event at Navan, the six-year-old stepped up to Group Two level in the Flying Five Stakes and was not beaten far into fifth place. In Salutem is set for a swift return to action in the Renaissance Stakes on September 25, while Condon also has one eye on a winter stint in Dubai. He said: "He's in the form of his life at the moment and it was great he showed he's capable of mixing it in that elevated company. "He didn't get the best of runs at a crucial stage and he just raced away from the main of the action, but he ran a very good race and he'll probably go back to the Curragh now for the Renaissance. "We think he's capable of getting involved in some of those big sprints and he's a horse we might take to Dubai in the winter for some of those nice prizes."
