Repertory ready for Epsom dash Repertory will attempt to land a Stg£100,000 bonus in the Vodafone `Dash` Rated Stakes at Epsom on Saturday. The pay-out, which is split between the yard, the owner and the trainer, is up for grabs if the winner of the five-furlong Listed contest lowers the track record.Malcolm Saunders` trailblazing eight-year-old finished a close fifth in France last Sunday and if none the worse for his trip across the Channel will line up on Saturday.'He`ll run at Epsom so long as there are no problems after he ran at Chantilly on Sunday,' Saunders said today. 'He ran well there - he doesn`t run many bad races - and they only caught him in the last furlong.'I just hope we get a bit of cut in the ground, that`s what he needs.'I haven`t fixed up a jockey yet but he`ll definitely go.'Repertory has already shown his liking for the Epsom and his trainer added: 'He was beaten a short-head by Bishops Court also entered in the race three years ago and has won at the August Bank Holiday meeting two out of the last three years. He never runs a bad race there.'They`ve doubled the prize money to Stg£100,000 this year which is unheard of for a Listed race.'The current record stands at 53.60secs and was set by Indigenous in 1960.
