Rhythm Divine s win in the Tommy Carberry Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today will have given connections a boost as the Tom Gibney trained mare scored a third career win, under jockey Darragh O'Keeffe.

The daughter of Milan was produced by O'Keeffe to lead approaching the last and in the end scored a five lengths win over Ten Ten

Gibney later stated “I'm delighted for her owners Tom and Walter (O'Connor). Tom had a tough time with losing his wife Mandy and it's their son Ben's (14th) birthday either today or yesterday. It's brilliant for them.”

He added “I thought she'd need it to be honest and we weren't that sure about the ground either because she normally wants better ground.

“Even though we weren't expecting it, it's still great.

“We'll try and come back here for something at Easter.”

Rhythm Divine had previously completed consecutive wins at Downpatrick and Bellewstown last August and two starts ago at Gowran in October, gained a valuable black-type placing when finishing second in a Listed hurdle.
