Road To Riches is a possible for the Kerry National at Listowel on September 13th.

Noel Meade's 10-year-old had his first run since September in the Galway Plate last week, finishing 10th.

He was declared for a race on Sunday but a small problem prevented him from running.

"He had a bruised foot. He was 95 per cent OK but it was very soon and we just thought it was better not to," Meade told At The Races.

"It had been a long time since he ran and we were happy enough. The rain that came didn't help him, either, he'd have liked a bit better ground.

"Nowadays two-mile-six is a little bit short for him anyway, he wants a good three miles. I'd be hoping he'd come back.

"I haven't spoken to Eddie and Mike yet (O'Leary) but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in the Kerry National, that's a possibility and there are a couple of conditions chases as well.

"I'd imagine we'll keep going on with him now anyway."
