Ridge aims for win number four

Brian Meehan`s Tumbleweed Ridge will bid for an amazing four-timer in the Ballycorus Stakes over seven furlongs at Leopardstown tomorrow.

Michael Tebbutt takes the ride on the eight-year-old, who has recorded three successive wins in the Group Three event from 1998.

The horse`s last success was in this race last year, although he showed signs of a return to form when two lengths fourth in a Group Three contest at Longchamp last month.

'He`s in great form and is flying over this afternoon,' said Meehan.

'He`d have a big chance and it would be great to win the race for the fourth time.'

Five runners are set to oppose Meehan`s charge with Joanna Morgan`s One Won One and Aidan O`Brien`s King Charlemagne looking likely to provide the sternest opposition.

'I think One Won One would be the danger,' added the trainer.
