Rince Ri reported to be in good form ahead of Hennessy bid.

Ted Walsh has stated that his Rince Ri has pleased him ahead of his fourth bid to win the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday.

Walsh, whose strong hand on Sunday includes Top Strategy (Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle) and Never Compromise (Hunters´ Chase), worked Rince Ri yesterday and reported 'it was the first piece of work since finishing second in the Pillar Chase and I wanted to judge his wellbeing. It was a good, healthy spinand he did it nicely. His regular rider Tom Whitaker rode him and reported that the horse felt fresh and well.'

Rince Ri is currently a 7/2 shot for the race with Cashmans´ Bookmakers.
