Rizeena options remain open Trainer Clive Brittain has yet to confirm which big-race assignment Rizeena will take up at Newmarket later this month. The Moyglare heroine is still in the hat for the Shadwell Fillies' Mile on September 28th and the seven-furlong Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes a day later. Brittain said: "Rizeena will certainly run in either the Cheveley Park or the Fillies' Mile. "I will have a runner in both races but I won't make up my mind about which one until nearer the time. "Of my other entries, both Stealth Missile and Halljoy are quite useful and well up to Group class. "Rizeena has been amazing since she came back from Ireland. She has put all her weight back plus another nine kilos, so I am very pleased with her physical progress. "She has put on 20 kilos since her first run at Newmarket in April and now weighs in at 480 kilos, which would be a good weight for a colt." Connections of Joyeuse say the Cheveley Park is a "realistic target" for the half-sister to Frankel. The Lady Cecil-trained two-year-old returned to winning ways at Salisbury last week when she stuck by a neck in the Listed Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes. Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah, said: "The Cheveley Park Stakes looks to be a realistic target for her. "She has come out of the Salisbury race fine. She was a bit rusty as she had not run since Royal Ascot, but she is a mature filly so she behaved very well and took it all very much in her stride. "However, she will have to improve quite a lot if she is to be competitive in Group One company. "She is completely different to Frankel - every horse is different to Frankel - but (breeding wise) she benefits greatly from her close association with him. "If she proves herself good enough in the Cheveley Park then the 1000 Guineas would have to be part of the long-term plan for her." Vorda could add a dash of French colour to the Cheveley Park, for which the likes of Lucky Kristale and Kiyoshi remained in contention at the latest forfeit stage. The Philippe Sogorb-trained filly's unbeaten run came to an end at Deauville last month when she was beaten a length by the impressive No Nay Never. Sogorb said: "She has two options - the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp the following weekend, but I really want to come to Newmarket for the Cheveley Park. "It is amazing, she gets better every day and she is better now than she was in the Morny. "She has travelled already three times to Paris and once to Deauville - she has an excellent mentality and travels very well, so the trip to Newmarket by box will be no problem. "She has a very good balance and plenty of natural ability, so The Dip on the Rowley Mile should be no issue and she can run on any ground. "She is a perfect horse to train."
