Rodeo Blues brings up Naas treble for Joseph Trainer Joseph O'Brien brought up a treble on the afternoon as Rodeo Blues stayed on strongly under Dylan Browne McMonagle to win the Care At Home Handicap at Naas. Off the mark at Ballinrobe last month, the Annus Mirabilis Syndicate and Sean O'Driscoll and Middle Cow Unlimited-owned filly doubled her career tally in game fashion. Sent off 11/4 joint-favourite, the daughter of Blue Point was held up towards rear in the initial stages of the ten-furlong contest. Making headway to track the leaders over two furlongs out, Rodeo Blues led at the furlong pole, keeping on well to score by half-a-length. Joseph O'Brien said; "We thought she'd be better going back left-handed. She hung out badly in Ballinrobe the last time. She won nicely and Dylan gave her a lovely ride. "She's actually due to go to the sales tomorrow. We'll discuss it with the owners and see. It's nice to get another win and it's great that there is a big team of the syndicate here today, family and friends."
