Rogers records first winner of the season

Harry Rogers saddled his first winner of the season when 50/1 shot Allegra Tak came home in front of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden under Shane ‘Dusty’ Foley.

Winning trainer Rogers said afterwards, “He ran well enough the last day, he travelled well he just didn’t get a clear run. We’ll see what the handicapper does before we make any plans for him.”
