Connections of Roheryn are hoping the rain stays away from Limerick ahead of her seasonal reappearance in Saturday's Martin Molony Stakes.

The Ger Lyons-trained filly won at Wexford and Leopardstown during a fine three-year-old campaign and signed off with a creditable third behind Tarfasha in September's Blandford Stakes at the Curragh.

She returns to a mile and a half for this weekend's Listed assignment and David Redvers, racing manager for owners Qatar Racing, is hoping the ground remains on the quick side.

He said: "Ger is delighted with her and we're really pleased with how she's wintered.

"The only thing is we wouldn't want too much rain."

Roheryn faces six rivals include Jim Bolger's Answered, last seen winning the Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown in October.

The formidable combination of Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen are represented by Stuccodor, while Dark Crusader is an interesting contender for Tony Martin.

John Walsh's mare Lady Giselle has her work cut out on official ratings, but the trainer is hoping she can enhance her value as a potential broodmare.

Walsh said: "It's a step up in class for her and we'd be hoping for rain. The more rain they get the better chance she'll have.

"She's a good little filly and we're after some black type with her, that would be nice.

"She's been running well without winning of late. Hopefully she'll run a big race."

Pat Flynn's Highly Toxic and Waltzing Matilda from Tommy Stack's yard complete the line-up.
