Rose set for Mimosa

Kevin Prendergast intends to strike while the iron is hot with his in-form filly Rose Bonheur.

The three-year-old, who won at Fairyhouse on Sunday, is due to run in the Dark Angel EBF Sweet Mimosa Stakes at Naas on Wednesday.

Owned by Lady O'Reilly, the daughter of Danehill Dancer has only been unplaced once in her nine-race career and that was in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

"She's in the Sweet Mimosa on Wednesday," said Prendergast.

"She's a grand filly and I think we'll probably run her. These races are put on for the fillies and when she's in such good form we may as well take our chance.

"The only time she's been out of the frame was in the Guineas, where she was only beaten six lengths, and now we know she clearly didn't stay. She's a grand filly.

"At Fairyhouse she was slowly away so that didn't help her, but she was still able to win."
