Roudee toughs it out in Ayr Silver Cup Roudee galloped on strongly to come out on top in the William Hill Ayr Silver Cup. Having won the consolation race for the Great St Wilfrid Handicap at Ripon last month, Tom Dascombe's sprinter repeated the trick in Scotland. Get Knotted was best of the rest, beaten half a length, with Nuno Tristan a head away third and Eccleston fourth Kingscote said: "Conditions were great for him, a little bit of juice underfoot "A straight six (furlongs) is really suiting him at the minute - he loved it." Dascombe added: "It's fantastic. He's always been a lovely horse. "He used to be a crazy horse but he's hardly broken sweat."
