Royal Diamond impresses in finale Royal Diamond and Johnny Murtagh hacked up in Leopardstown's concluding mile and six furlong 16-runner handicap by four and three parts of a length at 14/1 on Sunday. Once the pair kicked for home over a furlong out the race was put to bed. Rising Wind (9/2) won the battle for minor honours with 7/2 favourite Run With The Wind coming in third. Capellanus at 20/1 grabbed fourth. Successful trainer Tommy Carmody said: "He has improved and is getting back to how he was with Sir Mark Prescott. He has been working well.
