Davy Russell will not be able to make his return from injury at Clonmel today due to a problem with "paperwork".

The dual champion jumps jockey had three booked rides, including Mallowney in the feature Clonmel Oil Chase.

He said: "I'm just a bit unlucky. It's paperwork, which is unfortunate.

"Hopefully it will be sorted out before or after the weekend.

"I don't know yet when I'll be able to come back but it won't be long."

Russell has been sidelined since he suffered a broken arm and a broken foot in a fall at Cork on August 30.
