STEVE WYNNE RETURNS TO THE SADDLE

Steve Wynne is set to return to the saddle tomorrow after nearly a fortnight on the sidelines.

The jumps jockey has been out of action since receiving a kick to the head in a fall at Ludlow on December 7.

Wynne will travel to Newcastle for one ride aboard Herself for trainer John Mackie in the Princess Garden Restaurant Juvenile Hurdle.

He said today: 'I`m going to ride tomorrow.

'I`ve schooled plenty of horses this morning for Henry Daly and I`ve been riding out since Saturday.

'I feel all right in myself so I`ll be riding at Newcastle.'

Wynne will be glad to return to the racecourse after his extended break.

'It gets frustrating not riding and it`s a good time to get back with Boxing Day coming up,' he added.
