Luke McAteer raced the 40/1 shot in mid-division and the pair made headway into the straight. They improved to second approaching the final furlong and momentum saw them take over with 100 yards to travel. The Tasleet gelding wandered close home, but was half a length too good for 3/1 favourite Saint Acclaim. Beach Barbie (11/1) was another three-quarters of a length back in third. David Marnane said: "He's still green - he's actually a nice horse, he has loads of gears, travels really well. Very raw off it, but he's certainly a nice horse. "He's going to go to the Horses In Training Sale if he is not claimed here. He would be good value. "He has always shown us that. We haven't go him to the racecourse because he's big, clueless horse, but plenty to work with. There's more under there anyway." San Giulio was unplaced on debut over a mile on turf at Cork earlier in the month. All Hail, who finished fourth, was claimed by John McConnell.
