Saval Beg option for Order Of St George Order Of St George could make his seasonal reappearance in the Saval Beg Stakes at Leopardstown ahead of a shot at the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot. Despite not running until June last year, the four-year-old made an instant impact in the staying ranks after winning three of his four starts, culminating with a runaway success in the Irish St Leger in September. Although yet to race beyond a mile and three-quarters, the Aidan O'Brien-trained son of Galileo already heads the ante-post market for the Group One showpiece at Royal Ascot on June 16, which is to be his first major target. Kevin Buckley, UK representative for owners Coolmore, said: "Where he is going to set him off, I'm not sure. The Saval Beg is probably where he will go, but I've not discussed it yet. "He is in great nick and in proper order. It's just a matter of getting him started and the Gold Cup at Ascot is definitely the target. "Whether you can say he is the next Yeats yet, I don't know, as he has got a lot of steps to climb, but he is heading in the right direction." Buckley stressed plans remain fluid as to where last year's St Leger runner-up Bondi Beach will be seen next after making a winning return in Listed contest at Limerick earlier this month. He added: "Bondi Beach has got a lot of options open, but I've not discussed anything with Aidan since he won that race impressively. "It was great to see him come back and do it like that. He has got a lot of nice options and I am sure we are going to see a lot of him."
