The Willie Mullins trained Scaglietti belied a worrisome walk in the market before eventually winning the Come Racing Again Sunday 11th November Maiden at Navan today, scoring under Champion Jockey Colin Keane.

Keane will hand over his Jockeys' Championship title to clear leader Donnacha O'Brien in the coming days but today partnered his 73rd success this term on the Listowel bumper winner who drifted from 2/1 this morning to 3/1 opening show on track, before returning a seemingly unfancied 9/2 chance.

In the race Scaglietti got the better of nine rivals when beating runner-up Foreign Secretary by half a length.

Mullins wasn't present and later Keane said “it was very straight forward as I followed the first two around and when she quickened away she pricked her ears in front. She’d be a better mare going further and a bit more ease in the ground as well.

“I’d say there is a bit more to come from her the way she’s done it as she won a shade cozily.

“She’ll be a grand dual purpose mare for them big two-mile handicaps, and a fun mare for her owners and breeders (Carroll family form Dungarvan).”

The Ferrari Scaglietti is a car manufactured by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari between 2004 and 2010.
