Scottish National preview Grand National-winning trainer Mouse Morris could bid for an unprecedented treble as his Irish National hero Rogue Angel is still in the mix for Saturday's Coral Scottish Grand National at Ayr. Morris enjoyed a memorable and emotional victory courtesy of Rule The World at Aintree last Saturday. Other Irish possibles include Stuart Crawford's Fine Rightly, Tony Martin's Gallant Oscar and Gordon Elliott's Cause Of Causes, and Willie Mullins has left in Measureofmydreams, while Sandra Hughes could run another Irish National winner in Thunder And Roses. Sausalito Sunrise looks set to carry top weight at Ayr. The expected defections of Many Clouds and The Last Samuri mean Philip Hobbs' charge is topping the list and a rise in the weights of 7lb will follow. Seeyouatmidnight has been left in by Sandy Thomson after coming up short in the RSA Chase and is likely to be suited by the marathon trip. "We gave him a quiet couple of weeks and now we're building him up, we're delighted with him," said Thomson on At The Races. "We're really looking forward to it. "He's been left in the Future Champions Novices' Chase over two and a half miles, but the ground looks like being on the softer side of good so we'll go for the National." Dr Richard Newland, another used to National success, has two possibles. "Both Pineau De Re and Royale Knight will go to Ayr for the Scottish National assuming they get runs," he said. "It looks like it is going to be testing up there which would suit them and they are both in good form." Paul Nicholls has left in Benvolio, Southfield Theatre, Vivaldi Collonges and Vincente, with Colin Tizzard able to chose from Masters Hill and Golden Chieftain. Oscar Rock, Milansbar, Vyta Du Roc, Sego Success, Shotgun Paddy, Mountainous and Highland Lodge are all still engaged too.
