Apprentice jockey Keithen Kennedy completed a double on the evening when delivering the Jessica Harrington trained Sea Coral from off the pace to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Bellewstown.

Successful earlier on the card aboard Daonethatgotaway Kennedy once again showcased his talents in riding a patient race on the 16/1 outsider.

Mid division at Cork on her only previous start, the daughter of Galiway appeared to appreciate stepping up in trip here.

Held up towards rear, Kennedy was hard at work over two-furlongs out as market leader Jannah Star got to the lead under Dylan Browne McMonagle.

Still only fifth a furlong out, Sea Coral quickened up smartly to lead over 100 yards out, going clear to win by one and three quarter lengths.

Jessica Harrington said: "She stays very well.

"She was second in a barrier trial last year.

"We were very disappointed when she ran as a two-year-old (unplaced in Cork) and we have given her time. She has strengthened up and she stays very well. We got her to relax - half the time she thought she was quicker than she was.

"A mile and a-half, a mile and six I think."

On Keithen Kennedy, she added: "He's doing great.

"He had a first Listed winner (Saratoga Special at Ayr) and he goes to Haydock for me tomorrow (Bonnie Moon)."
