Sea The Stars triumphs in all-Irish affair Sea The Stars collected his fourth consecutive Group 1 prize when winning the Juddmonte International Stakes at York this afternoon. The John Oxx trained colt won the English 2,000 Guineas, Derby and Eclipse earlier this season and has now added the first ever all-Irish contested Group 1 held outside of this country. John Oxx said: “They probably went a steady pace and of course mastercraftsman (runner-up) is no tourist. He took it to him there at the end and just made Sea The Stars work for it.” “He’s just had to fight a bit and he only just does enough, but as long as he keeps winning we won’t worry.”
