The Ted Walsh trained Seabass is among fourteen entries for the Grade 3 Racing Plus Chase over three miles at Kempton on Saturday.

The son of Turtle Island is in the form of his life at the moment and won his last six races including the Leopardstown Chase at the Foxrock venue last month.

Should the bay gelding line up he will face stiff opposition from Planet Of Sound, Nacarat and Fiendish Flame to name but a few.

Philip Hobbs, who has won this race four times, plans to use this valuable three-mile handicap as a stepping-stone to the John Smith's Grand National for his Planet Of Sound.

The 10-year-old has not been seen since finishing a creditable second to Carruthers in the Hennessy at Newbury in November - his first run since having a breathing operation.

The Tom George-trained grey Nacarat won this race in 2009, was second in 2010 and third 12 months ago.

Evan Williams has left in Deep Purple, while Paul Nicholls is double-handed with Royal Charm and Michel Le Bon - as is Colin Tizzard with Mount Oscar and Saturday's Haydock winner Cannington Brook.

Completing the list are Hector's Choice, Consigliere, Sarando, Fruity O'Rooney, Billie Magern and Soixante.
