A course winner over fences last year, Someone's Wish (6/1) gained his second victory at Downpatrick when landing the Willwego.com Handicap Hurdle under Jack Kennedy.

Kennedy gave the five-year-old a patient steer and the Buratino gelding moved into a close third when not fluent at the last.

In front rounding the home turn with a furlong to race, the winner was driven out to beat Centaq by two and a half lengths.

Trainer Gordon Elliott said: "To be honest, we thought he would come on from the run (first outing since February).

"They went very fast and Jack said it played into his hands - they stopped in front.

"Jack gave him a good ride, as always, he was very patient on him and it was great.

"He likes better ground and he's a fun horse, he is doing a job for the lads (Call It What You LikeSyndicate).

"He'll mix and match now, he'll be grand."
