Separate Ways reinstated as Galway winner

David Marnane’s Separate Ways has been reinstated as winner of the Guinness Handicap at Galway, having been demoted for interference on the day.

Luttrell Lady was originally awarded the race, having been hampered by Separate Ways inside the final furlong and was beaten half a length at the line.

However, in their findings, the Appeals Body were not satisfied the interference had not cost Luttrell Lady the race and reinstated Separate Ways as the winner.
