Shanahan and Whelan raid Ayr Pat Shanahan enjoyed a profitable trip to Scotland as Hold The Line defied top weight in the FSB Health & Wellbeing Handicap at Ayr. The Co Kilkenny handler had been out of luck with Dolce N Karama, but Hold The Line made the journey across the Irish Sea worthwhile. Leading over a furlong out in the hands of Ronan Whelan, the 10-1 shot was kept up to his work to register a second career success. Never Forever was half a length away in second place, with Spin Artist a further length and a quarter back in third.
