The going for today's all Flat meeting at Cork has eased following 15mm of rain overnight.

The ground is now described as yielding to soft (soft in places) for the eight-race card which gets underway at 2.05pm.

The weather forecast is for further scattered showers today.

Naas hosts a mixed card tomorrow, and the going is currently yielding to soft (Flat) and good to yielding (NH) following 10mm of rain since declaration time.

Meanwhile Ascot hosts the richest days racing ever in Britain with their Champions Day, and the ground remains soft after just 0.5mm of rain overnight.

Chris Stickels said, "The forecast is for possible showers, some of which might be heavy. The straight is drying but there is no change in the going description."
