Significant rain at Leopardstown Officials at Leopardstown are monitoring conditions ahead of tomorrow's high-profile meeting after the track was hit by significant rainfall overnight. Today's fixture at Naas has already been cancelled due to a waterlogged track and, while Leopardstown remain raceable, racecourse manager Tom Burke is keeping his fingers crossed conditions do not deteriorate any more. He said: "We had 14 millimetres of rain through the night up until 9am this morning and it is still raining now. "The forecast tells us it could rain for the remainder of the day, it could then ease off tonight and then we could get further rain on Sunday. "At the moment we're just monitoring conditions and we'll see where we are later on this afternoon." Leopardstown are due to stage a bumper eight-race card featuring four Grade One races, including the Hennessy Gold Cup.
