Sister Nancy shows rivals no mercy The Racing TV Nursery over a mile was Bellewstown’s opener and it saw Sister Nancy run out an emphatic winner under Ben Coen. Running in her first handicap, the daughter of Masar was well backed into 9/4 in a field of five. Coen settled her in rear and got a lovely run through on the inner once turning for home. In front under two furlongs out, the winner went right away to slam 7/4 favourite Cromane by seven lengths. It was a seventh winner of the campaign (four of them at stakes level) for Danny McLoughlin, who trains the winner for the On The Market Syndicate. "We always thought the slow ground would suit her," expained Coen "She actually ran okay here early on in the year, and is probably a filly that has taken a while to get her to do things right in her races. "With a small field today, she relaxed good. I got the run of the race. "I probably had to get there a bit too soon, but there was a gap down the inside, and I wanted to take it when it was there. "She was a bit green in front, so I just kept her up to her work." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
