The grey gelding has already been successful over this course and distance in the Ballymore Properties Drinmore Chase last December, and is earmarked for Sunday?s race after bypassing Cheltenham in favour of this two and a half miles assignment. ?The plan is to run on Sunday and he seems well in himself again. We were disappointed with his run at Leopardstown last time but he didn?t eat up for three days after that race´" said O´Grady. "He was even heading for a temperature at one stage and was very down in himself, yet he scoped okay and his bloods were okay. We thought on the day he was fine, but if only they could talk as he was obviously only a shadow of his former self.? Numerically Willie Mullins holds a strong hand with three still standing, including the French import J?y Vole who defeated another entry, Colm Murphy?s Big Zeb, by five-lengths in the Grade 1 Dr PJ Moriarty Chase at Leopardstown. Mullins? other entries are dual chase winner Freds Benefit and Thurles beginners chase debut scorer Dooneys Gate, while Jimmy Mangan?s four-time winning chaser Conna Castle, who shaped well on his return at Thurles behind Irish Grand National-bound Cailin Alainn, is another notable entry.
