Social can rise to occasion Ken Condon feels Social Riser is capable of handling a rise in grade after she impressively broke her maiden at Naas on Saturday. Formerly trained on the Flat by Lambourn handler Charlie Hills, the four-year-old filly pulled five lengths clear in a maiden hurdle over two miles. Though predominantly bought for National Hunt racing, Social Riser could revert to the level later in the year. Condon said: "It remains to be seen how strong a contest that was, but she can hopefully progress a bit more. "We'll probably try and find a few nice mares' novice hurdles now as she'll get a bit of an allowance as a four-year-old. "Her jumping needs to improve, but she's a very tough horse and stays very well and, hopefully, she'll end up getting some black type. "She's a good, fun horse and we might even find her something on the Flat in the summer."
