Song Tops Forest Field Last year´s leading miler Soviet Song heads a field of just 12 fillies and mares for the Group Two Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot at York on Wednesday. James Fanshawe has also kept the five-year-old in the Queen Anne Stakes next week, a race she was second in last season. It would be the multiple Group One winner´s first start since last September´s Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, where she was sixth behind Rakti. Leading the opposition is Aidan O´Brien´s representative Airwave, formerly a top sprinter for Henry Candy, who was successful in her first attempt at a mile last month. Other top females engaged include recent Epsom scorer Sundrop, Patrick Haslam´s Kinnaird and the Gerard Butler-trained Tarfah. Sir Michael Stoute has kept in both Peeress and Celebration Mile heroine Chic while Ianina represents German trainer Ralf Rohne.
