Song heads to Epsom Siren's Song is likely to go straight for the Investec Oaks following her Listed success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Salsabil Stakes at Navan last Sunday. The daughter of Azamour made her debut in a Leopardstown maiden just three weeks previously when an unlucky-in-running second to Mesariya. Trainer Jessica Harrington revealed today in her weekly Irish Examiner column: “She will probably go straight to the Epsom Oaks now if all goes well in the meantime and we'll just keep hacking away between now and then.” She added: “She wasn't even in training last year. She was broken and pre-trained by Dick Brabazonand then sent to a farm in Limerick. She was to come to me at the end of the season but they decided that she was still a bit backward. Then she was to arrive at the start of January but with the weather, she didn't make it until the end of the month. So we haven't had her that long.” Siren's Song is a top-priced 25/1 with William Hill for the Investec Oaks.
