Spencer Wings In For Flashy Mount Jamie Spencer has come in for the plum ride on Flashy Wings in the Stan James 1000 Guineas at the request of owner Jaber Abdullah.The flying filly was partnered by Ted Durcan throughout her juvenile career which included wins in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot at York and the Lowther Stakes, also at York.'Mr Abdullah wanted me to ask Jamie Spencer if he'd be available to ride Flashy Wings in the 1000 Guineas,' explained Bruce Raymond, Racing manager to Mr Abdullah, in the Racing Post.'I did so, and Jamie said he'd be pleased to ride her.'Flashy Wings will be attempting to win a first British classic for trainer Mick Channon and is currently available at 7-1 with the sponsors.(C) PA Sport
