Spencer could finish in Hong Kong Jamie Spencer could bring the curtain down on his glittering riding career in Hong Kong next month. Spencer shocked the racing world in the summer when he announced he would hang up his riding boots at the end of the campaign and the former champion jockey is due to take up a management role with Qatar Racing in the new year. The jockey finished placed on each of his two rides as the curtain came down on the Flat season at Doncaster on Saturday and he is likely to be in action for a little longer before he finally calls it a day. Spencer's agent, David Harrison, said: "I haven't spoken to him in detail about it, but I think he's going to ride in Hong Kong and I think that might be where he'll finish (his riding career). "He'll probably take a ride here and there before then to keep himself fit and I think he's planning to go to Barbados for a jockeys' challenge out there."
