Sprint trip no issue for classy Master Gifted Master made all for a facile victory in the 100,000 Tattersalls Millions 3-Y-O Sprint in the hands of Champion Jockey Pat Smullen at Newmarket this afternoon. The Hugo Palmer trained son of Kodiac finished three and a half lengths clear of his chief market rival, the Aidan O'Brien trained Waterloo Bridge to land the valuable prize. Gifted Master has now won five of his seven starts over a variety of distances from five furlongs to a mile. This is the third time in a row that Gifted Master has beaten a Ballydoyle trained inmate having accounted for Waterloo Bridge in another Sales race at the track last October before narrowly landing a Group 3 contest from Beacon Rock later the same month.
