Stack eyes Guineas Trial for Wargrave Fozzy Stack is tempted to run Wargrave in the 2,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on Saturday. The Galileo colt went close several times as a juvenile but failed to break his maiden in five outings. Reappearing at Naas on the opening day of the season he scored in comfortably fashion by two and a half lengths. “He could go to the Guineas Trial — that’s possible — or else there’s a winner’s-of-one race at Cork over Easter so we’ll see next week how he is and make up our minds,” said Stack. “He did it well. What sort of race it was time will only tell but he won well and he seems in good order since it, which is the main thing. “He’s on good terms with himself so we’ll see what happens.”
