Starcraft Given Moulin Aim

Starcraft, off the track since suffering a pelvic injury last month, is set to return in the Group One Netjets Prix du Moulin at Longchamp.

Trainer Luca Cumani has pencilled in the September 4 event over mile for the former top Australian horse after his disappointing run when only sixth in the Eclipse.

It later transpired that the five-year-old had suffered a stress fracture of his pelvis but Cumani reports Starcraft to be back on track now.

He told the Racing Post: 'Starcraft is stepping up in his exercise and we´re preparing him for the Moulin.

'He´s made very good progress, and we hope he won´t have any more setbacks.

'The plan at this stage is for the horse to run at Longchamp before going for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and then the Champion Stakes.'

Starcraft has had just one other run since moving to Europe, finishing a creditable third to Valixir in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot at York.
