Much attention will surround Stars So Bright when she makes her eagerly-awaited second racecourse appearance in the Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The John Oxx-trained daughter of Sea The Stars is a three-parts sister to the stable's high-class My Titania and while unraced at two she looked the part when winning a Dundalk maiden in good style last month.

A field of nine has been assembled for the Group Three contest which sees another unbeaten filly in the shape of Tommy Stack's Waltzing Matilda, who was a winner on heavy ground over course and distance at the beginning of April.

Successful last year with Just Pretending, Aidan O'Brien runs the promising Palace, who was fourth to Waltzing Matilda on her debut and won subsequently at Navan, with the Ballydoyle handler remarking afterwards she was considered his best two-year-old filly last year.

Booker did it well when winning at the Curragh and steps up for David Wachman and Fran Berry in the colours of the smart Alive Alive Oh.

Harry's Princess also represents Oxx, with Afternoon Sunlight, Ballybacka Queen, Spirited and Suite others to feature.
