Stocktons withdrawn due to 'genuine error' Stocktons Wing has been withdrawn from the 9:00 at Fairyhouse this evening due to a 'genuine error' in regards to his handicap mark. PRESS RELEASE FROM THE TURF CLUB The Stewards of the Turf Club have acceded to the request of the Senior Flat Handicapper under Rule 33 (which allows for amendment of handicap weights due to a “genuine error”) to amend the published rating of Stocktons Wing to 80 from 44. Accordingly the Stewards of the Turf Club have ordered the withdrawal of Stocktons Wing from the Bobbyjo Bistro Great Value Packages Handicap (Division Two) at Fairyhouse on Wednesday, 11th June as the horse’s correct rating is 80. Stocktons Wing is therefore ineligible to run as the race is restricted to horses rated up to 65.
