Stoute has Eye on Dewhurst for Expert Expert Eye remains on course for next month's Darley Dewhurst Stakes after a minor setback saw him miss his intended run in the National Stakes. Sir Michael Stoute's Acclamation colt had been due to tackle the Curragh event after landing the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood on his most recent outing. A dirty scope put paid to those plans though, and the Newmarket Group One on October 14 is now in Stoute's sights. He said: "That's what we are planning. He worked yesterday (Saturday) morning and everything was fine."
