Stoute in no rush with Workforce Sir Michael Stoute is in no rush to decide on the next plan of attack for devastating Derby winner Workforce. The colt appeared to have the world at his feet after pummelling his Epsom rivals, but he suffered a heavy beating as now-retired stablemate Harbinger careered away to win the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. Stoute feels Workforce's Derby triumph may have left a bigger mark than first thought, but still has confidence in the three-year-old. "We just backed off him but he looks well and is back cantering," he reported. "We'll just keep a good eye on him and we'll see how he goes when he is back in fast work before making a definite target. "It's still quite early in August and there is plenty of time. "It was a scintillating performance at Epsom and he had a hard race but we felt we had him back in form before the King George, but he was well below par there. "Maybe he was not ready to be trained hard for two big races - he's a big fellow."
