Strong Irish challenge cross-channel There are a couple of Irish trainers with dual representation cross-channel today when six raiders in all from across the Irish Sea do battle. Caroline McCaldin sends out It'll Do Rightly for the 1.40 at Sedgefield, and he'll be bidding to follow up on a Catterick success from December 19th. A daughter of major young horse producer, Wilson Dennison, McCaldin was off the mark in the training ranks with It'll Do Rightly's success, and she's got another chance in the 3.40. Scottshill graduates to the racecourse proper for this bumper, after some placings in point-to-points. Galway native Alain Cawley does the steering on the Dromara duo. Johnny Levins meanwhile has Complicit engaged for the 1.50 at Lingfield, and Donagh O'Connor makes the trip over for the ride. On a busy day for Levins, when he also has runners at Dundalk, he's got Steelriver in the 7.15 at Newcastle under Sean Kirrane. Menelik (Des Donovan, 2.50 Lingfield) and Blastofmagic (Adrian Joyce, 8.15 Newcastle) are the others flying the green white and gold.
