Irish trainer Katie McGivern made a successful trip to Windsor this afternoon when Kendall Roy bolted up in the opening five furlong sprint of the day.

Kendall Roy, partnered by Silvestre De Sousa, was well supported near the off from 12/1 to 7/1 before winning by four lengths.

The three-year-old gelding had not raced since successful in a Nursery at Naas last September where the application of a tongue strap was attributed to the improved form.

Again sporting a tongue strap at Windsor, Kendall Roy was just McGivern's second runner of the season.

The winner is entered again at Bath on Friday along with slablemate So Majestic.
