Sunday's Turf Club strike may be averted

Talks between Turf Club Officials Association and their employers made significant progress yesterday in a long session at the Labour Relations Commission.

When discussions ended at 11pm on Thursday night only two issues remained outstanding.

Denis Egan, Chief Executive of the Turf Club, is due to be in touch with the union regarding these points by midday today.
