Supasundae heads Irish interest in Aintree Hurdle There are three Irish entries for the Betway Aintree Hurdle on Thursday. They are led by Jessica Harrington's Stayers' Hurdle second Supasundae, who is joined on the list by Henry de Bromhead's Identity Thief and the Willie Mullins-trained Yorkhill. Buveur D'Air is in line to bid for an 11th straight victory. The dual Champion Hurdle hero lifted this prize 12 months ago and heads a 16-strong entry for the latest renewal of the Grade One contest over two and a half miles. His stablemate My Tent Or Yours, the runner-up in 2017, is another among five possibles from the Nicky Henderson yard, along with Charli Parcs, L'Ami Serge and Verdana Blue. Nigel Twiston-Davies' popular performer The New One, successful in 2014 and third last year, is in the mix, as is Paul Nicholls' Old Guard. Completing the field are Air Horse One, Clyne, Cyrus Darius, Diakali, Izzo and Spiritofthegames. Gold Cup runner-up Might Bite is among 11 entries for the Betway Bowl at Aintree on the same card. Henderson has still to confirm if the nine-year-old is an intended runner, but the Seven Barrows handler has at least given him the option after his brave effort in defeat last month. The only other entries who ran in the Gold Cup are Brian Ellison's Definitly Red and last year's Bowl winner Tea For Two. De Bromhead's impressive Ryanair winner Balko Des Flos could also run. Bristol De Mai is due to return to action following a wind op, while Clan Des Obeaux could also return from a mid-season layoff. Double Shuffle, Cloudy Dream, Shantou Flyer, Sizing Codelco and Sub Lieutenant are in the mix too.
