Getoutwhenyoucan looks to follow up his first career win at Naas nearly four weeks ago when he lines up for the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap Hurdle at Thurles on Thursday.

The application of a hood helped the JP McManus-owned five-year-old get off the mark after a couple of decent second places.

He has been raised 10lb for his four-length success over Sir Harry Cash in a 13-runner handicap earlier this month, and trainer Charlie Swan is hoping the gelding can continue on the upgrade.

"He seemed to run a bit better the last day (in the hood). His form is pretty rock-solid," said Swan.

"The horse that beat him by a neck in Tramore (Tidy Zag) went out and won very easily in Fairyhouse. Hopefully he can keep on improving."

Swan keeps faith with 7lb claimer Ger Fox, who steered the horse to victory last time.

"Ger is on him again. He's a nice rider," said the County Tipperary handler.

The Dermot McLoughlin-trained Westerners Son, who defeated Getoutwhenyoucan at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, reopposes while another interesting rival in the maximum 18-strong field is the former Mark Johnston-trained Haverstock.

The four-year-old maiden has shown promise over jumps for Eric McNamara and was third to Federici at Limerick over Christmas. The County Limerick handler has booked Ruby Walsh for the bottom-weight.

Another seeking a second win on the bounce is the Dessie Hughes-trained Off The Charts in the Thurles Handicap Hurdle, the feature on a seven-race card. The five-year-old progressed from a good second at Punchestown to score at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day.

He must defy a 10lb rise for that, however, and Letter Of Credit and Our Katie might give him something to do.
