However, as well as having the option of the Group Two over a mile and three-quarters, O'Brien has left him in the Irish Derby. O'Brien has also left in Cole Porter, Housesofparliament, Landofhopeandglory and another Derby possible Port Douglas. Dermot Weld's Alveena looks the biggest obstacle to an O'Brien win. She has won two of her three outings this season, most recently the Cork Derby. Tom Dascombe's Cymro would be an interesting runner if the ground has sufficient give, while Joe Tuite's Litigant has also been left in.
