TG4 To Screen Cheltenham Preview TG4 will screen their annual preview of the Cheltenham racing festival this Saturday evening, 11th March at 7.15pm. The 30-minute magazine style preview, presented by Denis Kirwan, will be repeated on TG4 on the eve of the festival, Monday 13th March, at 6.25pm. The Cheltenham festival preview programme, produced by Touchline Media, takes a look at the principal contenders for the two big races at the festival - the Stan James Champion Hurdle and the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup. It also includes a feature on jockey Roger Loughran, who goes in search of festival glory and examines the economic impact of the Cheltenham festival, which has grown into one of the biggest sporting events of the year and draws huge Irish support. The TG4 preview also provides a selection of festival tips from jockeys, trainers and racing journalists on both sides of the Irish Sea. “The Cheltenham Festival is one of the great Anglo-Irish sporting rivalries and TG4 are once again delighted to provide racing fans with a preview of this iconic festival.” said Rónán O’Coisdealbha, Head of Sport, TG4.
