Outsider Torso was today ruled out of Saturday`s Tote Gold Trophy at Newbury.

Trainer Mary Reveley said: 'Torso will not run in the Tote Gold Trophy.

'His owner Mr Savill wanted us to make an announcement to make sure no-one was tempted to back him ante-post.'

Torso would have been racing from 15lb out of the handicap had he taken his chance in Saturday`s Stg£100,000 hurdle.
