TYSOU GOES FOR TRIUMPH Tysou is to join leading fancy Jocko Glasses in contesting the Elite Racing Club Triumph Hurdle for owners the Million In Mind partnership. The pair will be bidding to emulate the success of the syndicate`s predecessors who landed the juvenile championship with Mysilv in 1994. Ex-French Tysou has earned the right to take on former compatriots and current Triumph favourites Jair du Cochet and Bilboa by winning twice for Micky Hammond in Britain this winter. His trainer said on Sky Sports` Racing News programme: 'Tysou is in the Triumph Hurdle. Obviously there are one or two French horses to merit consideration in that particular race but he`s won his races for us and he`s worthy of taking his chance. 'He`s owned by the Million In Mind partnership who have had horses with us for the past six or seven seasons and we`ve been very lucky for them.' Tysou, a winner on the Flat and over hurdles in his native country, is an an outsider for the Triumph after two victories atCatterick this term. But Jocko Glasses, trained by three-times Triumph winner Nicky Henderson, is 14-1 co-third favourite with William Hill, having scored impressively at Kempton in December.
